Gross Motor / Proprioception

Movement and body awareness are foundational to learning. At Astute Early ABA Services, we incorporate gross motor and proprioceptive activities into our ABA programs to help children develop coordination, body control, and the ability to self-regulate. These activities support children in becoming more aware of how their body moves through space — which can reduce sensory-seeking behaviors, improve attention during sessions, and build the physical confidence children need to engage with their environment and peers. Our BCBA designs activities that are purposeful, play-based, and tailored to each child's individual sensory and developmental needs.
